đ Share this article Former Doctor Accused of Sexual Assault Charges Involving 38 Individuals in His Care Prosecutors have stated that a former physician has been charged with performing assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were patients. The Serious Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences â including acts against children younger than 13 â between 2017 and 2021. A senior prosecutor stated, âLegal teams have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex police inquiry, carefully reviewing the evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.â The Police Inquiry These allegations follow what police called a âdetailed inquiryâ into alleged assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley. The defendant is due to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th. List of Offences The charging documents said the forty-five charges comprise: Fifteen counts of assault. Seventeen counts of assault by penetration. Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration. 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
